- ⦁ Generally, this analysis is performed for liquid-filled tanks (e.g. fuel tanks, Adblue tanks, water tanks…etc) However, this analysis may be employed for hollow tanks in order to determine the stresses and displacements it is vulnerable to. The results of this analysis are determined directly from the pressures exerted by a fluid (i.e. water) on an immersed body.
